Wal Thornhill – Electric Universe

Wal Thornhill graduated in physics at Melbourne University in 1964 and began postgraduate studies with Prof. Victor Hopper’s upper atmosphere research group. He become an independent researcher with many papers featured in  U.S. journal, Aeon, and the Review of the Society for Interdisciplinary Studies (SIS), in England. He served as a council member of the SIS in the 1980’s while working in London for the Australian government. He also attended a postgraduate course in Astrophysics at the University of London and meetings of the Royal Astronomical Society (RAS), the British Astronomical Association (BAA) and the British Association for the Advancement of Science (BAAS). Wal’s peer-reviewed papers on the electrical nature of stars and supernovae (The Z-Pinch Morphology of Supernova 1987A and Electric Stars) was published in the IEEE Transactions on Plasma Science, Vol 35 No. 4, Special Issue on Space & Cosmic Plasmas – August 2007. A co-authored paper with plasma physicist C. J. Ransom on the Martian “blueberry” phenomenon (Plasma-Generated Craters and Spherules) was also published and a co-authored paper in Japan on the plasma phenomenon at the centres of galaxies (Barred-Spiral Galaxy Analog in the Dense Plasma Focus). A special issue of the Open Astronomy Journal in 2011 is to feature the Electric Universe and Wal’s paper, Toward a Real Cosmology in the 21st Century.

Wal was awarded a gold medal in 2010 by the European Telesio-Galilei Academy of Science for his work on the Electric Universe.

Wal, influenced by the works of Velikovsky,  was invited to attend the first international conference on the subject of Velikovsky and The Recent History of the Solar System at McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario, in 1974. There he met Velikovsky and subsequently visited him at his home in Princeton, NJ, on April 28, 1979.  It was but a few months before Velikovsky passed away. The discussion turned on the key question raised by his theory of recent planetary catastrophe – the true nature of gravity and its role in cosmology.  That led Wal to a re-examination of Einstein’s legacy and the electrical nature of matter.  His published books and DVD’s to-date are:

2 Books

  • Thunderbolts of the Gods

THE DREAM CATCHER: WELCOME TO THE JOURNEY

INSIDEOUT, A VISUAL JOURNEY INTO OUR UNIVERSE

Welcome to this visual tour as I unravel the mystery of our designer universe. My quest was to be see Godʼs designer studio and here is a glimpse.

As I lift the veil you will see the Creator everywhere and in everything. This mystical journey awakens you, the dreamer, to the science and spirit of living.

Through the contribution of over 60 innovative thinkers, scientists and artists, I have woven a compelling tapestry that threads science to sage, east to west, and heart to mind. This mosaic is not a story but a synthetics of elemental and fundamental building blocks of life, so you can see how all is entwine. This book reveals complex ideas in a simple and visual way. It is an invitation to explore more deeply science to sage.

Within this tapestry there is but ONE Master Weaver.

My question to humanity is as this veil lifts will we let go of our righteousness and allow for diversity; and in so doing restore our dignity and humanity?

“The original and literal meaning of the term apocalypse, however, is not “destruction” but “lifting of the veil” or “revelation.” It referred to the disclosure of secrets, hidden from the majority of humanity, to certain privileged persons.” ~ Stanislav Grof
this is science with soul.
